WebDHCS is transitioning to the 274 Health Care Provider Directory standard, an X12 national standard format, for the collection and maintenance of managed care provider network data. 274 data will be processed and validated by the Post Adjudicated Claims and Encounter System (PACES) maintained by DHCS. For the purpose of this project WebDHCS must have current provider information. This is the responsibility of the provider who must report any changes in information to DHCS within 35 days of the change. ‹‹Deactivation of the provider’s billing NPI number will occur if DHCS is unable to contact a provider at the last known pay-to, business or mailing address.
